Painting in Farmington

Painters who know Farmington homes

Farmington has a little of everything when it comes to houses. There are mid-century ranch homes near downtown and Main Street, brick and frame houses on the older streets close to the rivers, and newer stucco subdivisions on the north side toward the Piñon Hills area. Each one needs a different plan — brick and block want breathable coatings, older wood siding needs scraping and spot priming, and stucco needs cracks opened up and filled before anything goes on.

Where the San Juan, Animas and La Plata rivers come together, the valley sees more moisture than the mesas above it, and homes near the Animas Riverwalk and Berg Park can show mildew on shaded walls. We wash those surfaces properly before painting so the new finish bonds to clean substrate instead of trapping problems underneath.

Inside, Farmington calls are often about whole-home interiors before a move, kitchen cabinets that need a modern color, and rentals that need to turn over quickly. We also handle storefronts and offices around town, scheduling around business hours so you can stay open while we work.
